　　On May 2, Lu Yuqing, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission, conducted a special research tour in Yicheng City. The tour focused on studying and implementing a correct view on performance, stabilizing economic growth in the second quarter, expanding effective investment, improving the quality and efficiency of the service industry, and advancing high-quality project development. Meng Yanqing, Member of the Standing Committee of Xiangyang Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor, and Wu Yiquan, Secretary of Yicheng Municipal Party Committee, accompanied the inspection.

　　In the morning of the same day, the research group visited Hubei Tianshu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Tianshu Pharmaceutical), focusing on the intelligent production project for high-end active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) including Vicagrel, a Class 1.1 innovative drug, and the Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) business. Lu Yuqing listened carefully to the company’s report on innovative drug R&D, production technologies and industrial chain layout. He stressed that the enterprise should seize development opportunities in the biomedicine industry, strengthen technological support and factor guarantee, and accelerate the industrialization of innovative achievements.
